I was not interested at the time. I was just familiar with their radio stuff like Touch of Grey, and after seeing some godawful show with Throwing Stones>NFA on TV, I knew this band was just horrible and I wouldn't listen to them for years.

Well gee. I'd actually rather not see a show I already "know" but one that would be a complete surprise - so throw me at any random lost 1967 show...

That would be the 12/31/85 New Years broadcast from the Oakland Coliseum.

Back in the day, when in-conversation with non-heads several brought up this broadcast as an example as to why they found the music uninteresting.

Concur but those same people who found the music uninteresting were laughing their asse* off at Ken kesey
